Semiconductors, MEMS and Sensors are key enabling technologies that make new developments possible in a wide range of applications and markets by creating greater efficiency, better performance, new properties and meeting quality & sustainability requirements.
The I2I Project is building and combining key industrial competences for micro and nano technologies that will be used in future medical and solar applications. The I2I consortium consists of 15 partners, 12 SMEs and three knowledge institutions. It is participating in six R&D projects:
- Low Power Micro Breath Analyzer
- Integrated Microfluidic Diagnostics Device
- Micro Pharma Inhaler
- Body Fluid Sampler
- Ultrasound Imaging (Echography)
- Thin Film Lift-off
The project I2I is sponsored by GO EFRO, the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel and Region Twente and is coordinated by Business Cluster Semiconductors Netherlands (BCS) who’s board consists consisting of the organisations: Solmates, NXP Semiconductors Nederland, Boschman Technologies, Bruco Integrated Circuits and Oost NL.
